Personal Thoughts: My friends wanted to do a Gurren Lagann group. I was kind of skeptical after one said ‘you could be Yoko!’ since she wears a bikini but then they showed me the S.T.A.R.S. video and I immediately wanted to do her flight attendant outfit! It looked really cute but at the same time sexy. I hadn’t done a lot of revealing costumes since Kriem so I decided to give it a go. It ended up being one of my favorite costumes at the time!

Details
It took me longer to do this costume because I was constantly working. I finally started using patterns again and lined the inside of the skirt and jacket. The V on the skirt has interfacing inside to make it sturdier and remain straight while being worn. The radio was made from craft foam, a phone cord that was being thrown out from work and a 10$ mic off eBay. I would later buy a $7 radio set at Goodwill to revamp the mic and radio set to make it look a bit more realistic.  The fabric was also pulled from a local fabric store in Phoenix. If I were to remake the costume, the jacket and skirt would be made out of a twill or stretchy sturdy type of fabric.
