Personal Thoughts: I’ve always wanted to do a version of Miku but could never decide on what to do. When I saw her costume for Worlds End from Project Diva F I got so excited I had to do it!

Details
This was an easy project but I wanted to focus on correct fabric types that Miku would have worn in the videos environment. I used a knit for the jacket and another knit that was a bit denser than the jackets material. I created a pattern for both the dress and jacket myself and added buttons and notions for appearance. None of the buttons are functioning so the jacket can just rip off at the front with ease. It also drapes along the shoulders nicely because of this. Ribbons were sealed using heat and sewn into the bias.

The wig was a pre-made parted wig from Arda.com. Detail to the wig accessories were painted, dyed and hot glued together. The pieces velcro to each other so they can be taken off the wig easier. The same method was used on the neck piece.

I was never happy with how the costume came out. I would later re-do the dress with a pattern to better fit my body but I’m still very unhappy with the jacket and wig. I may end up re-doing the costume top later since this is my favorite version of Miku and I would like to do her some justice.
