Personal Thoughts: Pokemon was my obsession when I was a kid. I wanted to be a Pokemon Master so I collected as many cards as I could, got tons of games and nabbed as many toys as my parents would allow me to have. I watched the show daily and went to the movies at least three times each. I was obsessed. But as I got older, my tastes became darker and I began really liking Team Rocket as my main baddie team so I started looking up how they started. I was surprised that in a drama CD there was someone before Giovanni and that was his mother who was named ‘Madame Boss’.  She is only shown once (on the drama CD) and is a direct result of the death of Jesse’s mother. So I liked her a lot because not only was she unknown but damn was she mean!

VERSION 1
I was found the jacket and skirt at Goodwill and adjusted it to my size for the first version. I wasn’t too happy that she was red, red, red everywhere since it feels like an assault on the eyes.

VERSION 2

I kind of thought this costume was done and retired until I decided to casually bring it back for fun. After seeing a few other cosplayers swap out the red skirt for a black one, I decided to do it as well. I also swapped the red shoes for black ones to make make the look more business. With the simple change, I’m so much happier with the costume this time than the first!
